SUMMARY OF THE POST:
Under the guidance of the HIV Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for the planning,
implementation, monitoring and evaluation of initiatives around HIV and youth engagement
in West Papua Province. The position will also require data analysis, technical support and
progress reporting, and commitment for enhancement of teamwork and capacity building, in
support of achievement of planned objectives of the work plan, aligned with country programme goals and strategy of UNICEF Indonesia.
PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Advanced University degree in Social Sciences, Health, Public Health, Family Health, or
a field relevant to international development assistance in HIV/AIDS and Adolescent.
•Three (3) years of relevant work experience in the development, implementation,
management, monitoring and evaluation of programmes addressing the issues of adolescent and HIV. Experience in Public Health and Reproductive Health and with UN agency is an asset.
• Knowledge and previous working experience in Papua is an asset
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written) is required.
