Area Development Manager - Bandung Cirebon
Bandung (Jawa Barat), Cirebon (Jawa Barat)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving sales targets within specified geography area and/or class of responsibility.
Analyze, review and manage sales volume and trade promotion spending in line with broad category strategy to maximize sales and minimize promotional spending.
Contribute to the growth and operating results of the company by managing distributors and direct general trade customers in the achievement of sales targets and by building the skills and abilities of the 3rd party distributor sales team.
Maintain consistent daily contact with, and reporting from, direct field sales report.
Survey distributor area coverage planning to determine if all potentials are fully developed. Make recommendation and assist distributor in implementing improvements (e.g. additional management, manpower, skill training, depot, armada, computer system, coverage technique, routine routing) and oversee plan realization.
Socialize sales strategies, tactics, objectives and selling approaches to the distributors ‘ sales teams and direct sales report.
Continuously develop the technical competence of the sales organization aligned with the principle to deploy “best practice”. Develop new business approaches & introduce technologies that help improve sales effectiveness, efficiency and build competitive advantage.
Socialize new product launch distribution targets/timetables to the distributors and act as key motivator/controller/implementer i.e. manage performance achievement and implement timely corrective action plans as required.
Requirements:
Min. Bachelor degree from any field.
At least 5 years in general trade sales experience.
Has a Multinational FMCG background.
Basic working knowledge of English both written and spoken is must
A proficiency or aptitude with personal computer on basic application such as Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word is essential.
Strong analytical & problem solving, business partnering, leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Able to communicate with enthusiasm and impact and solid presentation skills.
Proven track record of achievements and contribution, as shown in annual performance evaluations/references.
Willing to work at Bandung as daily based activity
