BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor degree or higher in business or equivalent, preferably from an English-speaking
country
Experience & Knowledge
At least 5 years’ experience in the education industry in business development, including
sales &marketing
A thorough understanding of the secondary education system in Indonesia
A thorough understanding of the international student market in Indonesia
Personal Attributes:
Fluent bilingual: Bahasa Indonesia/English
Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
Highly motivated and outcomes-focused
Ability to work effectively autonomously and in a small team
Ability to recognize and anticipate business opportunities and trends
Duties include:
Building the presence of AES programs in secondary schools within Indonesia
Conducting market research to ascertain market potential in the school and corporate
sectors in Indonesia
Implementing business development strategy, including presenting to prospective schools
Providing support services to GAC schools
Translating and interpreting, as required
Reporting to supervising manager
Other duties, as required
Pay & Conditions:
Salary will be competitive and negotiated at the interview stage.
An initial 12 month contract will be offered, renewable subject to performance.
