SENIOR SAFETY & RISK ENGINEER
Qualification & Experience:

  • Has minimum 8 years working experience with 1 years of Risk work (QRA, FERA, etc.)
  • Having 3 years experience in Phast consequence modelling
  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering

Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • To provide risk management (safety and reliability) services to the various WorleyParsons Safety & Risk Management clients.
  • Clients can be internal Worley business units or external clients.
  • To be responsible to the performance of projects assigned to both in terms of technical capability and also commercial performance of the project.
  • To promote WorleyParsons Safety & Risk Management to clients to achieve follow-on work with existing clients and new work with prospective clients.
  • Specific Accountabilities:
  • To identify the safety engineering scope of work from basis of design.
  • To be able to raise a suite of project deliverables including procedures, design basis and HES Plan & Schedules of activities.
  • Network with other groups. Interface management with the client.
  • Address and co-ordinate safety in Design requirements.
  • Perform Inherent Safety Review.
  • Knowledge of HAZOP workshops, Fire & Explosion Analysis, Fire Protection related studies and Formal Safety assessments.
  • Identify Safety Critical Element & Performance Standards.
  • Identify Design Requirements for Safety Systems.
  • Perform Risk Assessment Studies including QRA, FERA, ESSA, F&G, Dropped Object,
  • Perform Loss Prevention Studies includes Hazardous Area Classification, EERA.
  • Perform fire water system design including fire water demand calculations and steady-state fire water network hydraulic modelling
  • Have a sound understanding of Active and Passive Fire Protection Design
  • Estimation of work scopes & CTR.
  • To determine the Major Accident Hazard events and to apply a formalised approach of Hazard management and provide means of mitigation and reduction of such hazards.
  • To take ownership of and provide direction to engineers through ability to prepare and author full suite of project safety deliverables.
  • Manage a small team of professional and technical people.
  • Quality Assurance- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Safety & Risk Department.
  • Safety- Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Safety & Risk Department. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

LEAD SAFETY & RISK ENGINEER
Qualification & Experience:
  • Has minimum 11 years direct safety & risk experience within oil & gas industry
  • Preferably those who have 5-6 years risk work experience (QRA, FERA, PHAST, TNO, Blast modelling, etc.)
  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Strong use of Hysis
  • Have facilitated HAZOP, HAZID, HAZAN

Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • To undertake/manage risk & safety related projects as required by the company workload
  • HAZOP and HAZID leadership
  • Project management, production of project deliverables on time and to budget.
  • Preparation of proposals, man hour estimates
  • Preparation of, and management of, both Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments, including fault tree and event tree analyses, hazard identification, FMECA techniques, risk ranking.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of methods, access to databases and access to appropriate software.
  • Ability to lead a project team of Risk & Safety Engineers.
  • Provide guidance to, and training of junior engineers in the preparation of their work.
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Business Unit
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Business Unit. Understand and follow
  • OH&S procedures.

SAFETY& RISK ENGINEER
Qualification & Experience:
  • Has minimum 3 years working experience with 1 years of Risk work (QRA, FERA, etc.)
  • Having 2 years experience in Phast consequence modelling
  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering

Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • To provide risk management and Loss Prevention services to the various Worley Safety & Risk Management clients.
  • To be responsible to the performance of projects assigned to both in terms of technical capability and also commercial performance of the project.
  • To promote Worley Safety & Risk Management to clients to achieve follow-on work with existing clients and new work with prospective clients.
  • To provide services of technical nature in meeting project requirements.
  • Specific Accountabilities:
  • To identify the safety engineering scope of work from basis of design.
  • To be able to determine and estimate norms to conduct the scope of work.
  • To be able to raise a suite of project deliverables including procedures, design basis and HES Plan & Schedules of activities
  • Knowledge of HAZOP workshops, Fire & Explosion Analysis, Fire Protection related studies and Formal Safety assessments.
  • Design Safety reviews/Studies, Layout, EERA, ESSA, F&G, Dropped Object, Hazardous Area, QRA, FERA
  • Active Fire Protection Design.
  • Passive Fire Protection Design.
